The 2025 CSI North Central Region President-Elect Training is designed to prepare future Chapter Presidents with the essential skills, knowledge, and resources needed to lead their chapters effectively. Through collaborative discussions, real-world case studies, and experience trainers, attendees will leave equipped to drive their chapters forward with confidence and clarity. Join us to build connections, share ideas, and strengthen the future of CSI leadership within the North Central Region.

Andrea Zawodny, CSI, CCS, CCCA, LEED APSenior Associate | Specification Writer
HOK
Andrea is a Senior Associate and Senior Specification Writer for the architecture firm, Hellmuth, Obata, & Kassabaum (HOK). She has 29 years of construction industry experience, and 24 years of experience in specifying. A long-time leader in CSI, Andrea is passionate about improving communication and project delivery in the design and construction industry. She has served on many CSI committees, as well as the boards of the Kansas City Chapter and the North Central Region. Andrea is also a Past-President of both.
Currently she is serving on the National Board as the Institute Director from the North Central Region, and the President-elect of the Kansas City Chapter. She has co-chaired the President Elect Training at the annual NCR Conference since 2017.
An avid animal-lover, Andrea frequently takes in dogs, and checks on cats, to allow pet parents to go on vacations without boarding their loved ones.
She also has a passion for cooking for others, particularly those with special dietary needs. Her attitude is “Food is important; it should taste good!”

Jarrod Mann, P.E., FCSI, CCCA, CDT

Jarrod has been a member of CSI since 2006, and a volunteer leader since 2010. He has served at the Chapter, Region, and National levels in various roles, and currently serves as Secretary of the Flint Hills/Kansas Chapter and Chair-Elect of the CSI Board.
He has contributed content related to chapter financials, records, and document retention for the NCR President-Elect Training put on by Andrea Zawodny and Mike Coan for a number of years, and is excited to step into a more formal role with Andrea in facilitating this year’s edition.
Jarrod’s day job involves leading a team of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers for a mid-sized regional E/A firm from his office in Lawrence, KS. He is a licensed professional engineer in the States of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Washington, and is a LEED Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction.
