The 2027 CSI North Central Region Conference is seeking presenters and educational session proposals focused on technical construction practice, specification development, building science, and project collaboration. 

 

Submissions may range from fully developed presentations to early-stage ideas or technical topics. Presentations must be educational and non-commercial in nature.Typical educational sessions will be 40–50 minutes with time for Q&A. CSI NCR will coordinate AIA CEU processing for accepted sessions. Programs that have additional CEUs, such as GBCI, are encouraged to be submitted.

 

Our audience includes specifiers, technical directors, architects, engineers, construction administrators, building enclosure consultants, manufacturers, and emerging professionals from across the CSI North Central Region.

• Support better documentation and coordination

• Share practical lessons learned and best practices

• Address current industry challenges and innovations

• Encourage collaboration across disciplines

• Provide continuing education opportunities

• Building science, materials & assemblies

• Quality assurance, commissioning & field coordination

• Risk Management, contracts & project delivery

• Leadership, workforce & professional development

• Product innovation & emerging industry trends

• Case studies & lessons learned

• Roundtables

• Technical demonstrations

 

We Expect Our Accepted Presenters To:

• Be able to attend the conference May 5-7, 2027 

• Submit head shots and bio’s by the required deadline

• Submit presentation materials by the required deadline

• Participate in attendee discussion and Q&A

• Coordinate AV and scheduling needs with conference organizers

• Support CEU documentation requirements where applicable

• Presenter/Educational Session Interest Form submission deadline - Friday September 4, 2026

• Presentor/Educational session selection notices sent by October 31, 2026

• Complete Education Program Schedule developed and posted by December 31, 2026
