The CSI Flint Hills Chapter and Lawrence, Kansas will host the 2023 North Central Region Conference, scheduled for May 3 – 6, 2023.

Lawrence is conveniently located midway between Kansas City and Topeka (just a 45-minute drive from MCI Airport), and has been included on national lists including:

The DoubleTree by Hilton is our host venue. It offers outstanding convention facilities, as well as many amenities for guests, including an indoor salt-water swimming pool, sauna, and two restaurants.

The DoubleTree is a short distance from a wide variety of attractions – including Downtown Lawrence, offering a wide variety of unique shops and locally-owned restaurants, the national-award-winning Public Library, Clinton Lake, and the University of Kansas, the cradle of basketball and home of the Jayhawks!

Short trips to the west and east along Interstate 70 will take you to even more attractions, including the beautifully restored Kansas Statehouse in Topeka, or to Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (by Moshe Safdie), the T-Mobile Center, the Power and Light District, and the Crossroads Arts District.

The conference will offer continuing education sessions, as well as leadership training for CSI Chapter officers.  Students affiliated with a Student Chapter of CSI may attend the product expo and sessions at no cost.
