2020 North Central Region Conference

April 30 - May 2 in Lawrence, Kansas

The CSI Flint Hills Chapter Presents

Featuring Topics on Resilient Design

Registration is now OPEN for the 2020 North Central Region Conference hosted by the Flint Hills Chapter in Lawrence, Kansas!

We’re excited to let you know that the theme for this year’s conference is Resilient Design.  What’s that, you ask???  Good question!  Here’s just one answer from the Resilient Design Institute:  The global nature of this topic lends itself to a number of definitions, and it’s people responsible for the built environment (that’s YOU) who will define and redefine resilience over the years to come. This conference will include presentations by national thought leaders on this next evolution of design criteria, providing many answers and provoking even more questions.

This conference will of course have all of the opportunities that many of you have come to expect from this annual event, including:

  • Networking with leaders and members from across the Region

  • Technical Education sessions

  • The return of the Product Rep Academy (trademark pending?)

  • Sessions geared toward improving Leadership at the Chapter and Region level

  • The return of the President-Elect Training for incoming Chapter Presidents

  • An exhibit hall with over 60 product and service representatives

  • Receptions, Awards, and a Tour of the beautifully restored Kansas Statehouse in Topeka

  • And of course, the always thrilling, spell-binding Board Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Region!

You’ll also learn a bit about the early history of Lawrence (and how those bushwackers from Missouri wouldn’t leave them alone), get a chance to explore the historic Massachusetts Street shopping district, and perhaps spend a few minutes in the hospitality room.  Companions not attending the conference will find ample options for touring, shopping, and dining in our host city, either on their own or through organized companion tours/events that will soon be finalized.

With an early registration rate of only $135 dollars, this 2-1/2 day conference is the best bargain you’ll find anywhere for education and networking.  Register by March 14th to get this discounted rate.

If you’ve attended the Region Conference in the past, you know the value.  If you haven’t, why are you waiting?
