Program Description:

An engaging panel discussion featuring mason contractors and manufacturers as they explore the evolving landscape of masonry and construction. This seminar will uncover key insights and practical strategies to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in building projects.

 

Learning Objectives:

Assess emerging innovations in masonry construction and their impact on structural integrity, energy efficiency, and long-term building performance.

Identify common project delivery challenges in masonry construction and develop strategies to improve efficiency, sequencing, and cross-trade collaboration.

Evaluate misconceptions surrounding masonry materials, wall assemblies, and construction components to improve specification accuracy and avoid design conflicts.

Explore cost-related considerations in masonry design, including material selection, detailing, and bid preparation, to balance budget constraints with performance requirements.

She is responsible for assisting the design community in creating thermally-efficient and water-resistant building envelopes for Hohmann & Barnard, a leader in the masonry industry for over 90 years with a current mission to partner with building professionals to provide innovative systems for a dynamic construction industry.

A sought-after speaker on workplace dynamics and leadership, she is also the founder of Divas of the Dirt™, serves on multiple industry boards, and enjoys mentoring young women in male-dominated fields—often over happy hour.
