align project goals with owner needs.

Assess Constructability: Participants will be able to evaluate the feasibility

of construction methods and materials.

Select Appropriate Roofing Systems: Participants will understand factors influencing

roofing system selection, including labor availability and staged construction.

Ensure Compliance and Quality: Participants will learn about the importance of

pre-work submittals, mock-ups, and ongoing construction observation.

Introduce the importance of effective project management in design and construction,

highlighting the roof as a critical field-assembled system prone to failures and legal issues.

Robert Dye, FCSI

Registered Roof Consultant

Robert Dye, LLC

Bob Dye started tackling commercial roofing projects back when most people thought a roof was just something that kept the rain out. These days, he's known for turning complex roofing challenges into documents that actually make sense to everyone on site.

Sure, he's got the technical chops – just ask anyone who's worked on the Louisiana Superdome, West Virginia University Coliseum, or UNI-Dome re-roofing projects. But what really gets him excited? Making those thick construction documents actually useful for the people who need them most.

If you're thinking 'just another roofing expert,' think again. Bob's the guy who looks at conventional problems and says, 'There's got to be a better way.' And usually, there is. He's made a career out of proving what's possible when you combine solid CSI principles with innovative thinking.

Want the credentials? They're there – he's earned his spot as an industry leader. But what Bob's really proud of is turning those 'impossible' roofing projects into success stories that don't require a technical dictionary to understand.

Looking to make your next commercial roofing project less of a headache? Bob's your guy for turning complicated specs into clear, actionable plans that actually work in the real world.
