This seminar provides an in-depth overview of fire protection principles, current building codes, and the essential systems designed to prevent and mitigate fire hazards.

Mary Kate Mulhall, FPE is a Fire Protection Engineer with Farris Engineering, where she has been contributing her expertise since earning her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver in 2020. Shortly after joining Farris, she immersed herself in fire protection engineering, recently achieving licensure in the field.
Mary Kate has played a key role in the design of fire protection systems for a diverse range of projects, including schools, hospitals, clinics, and government buildings. Her work focuses on ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in complex building environments. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a passion for fire protection, she is dedicated to delivering innovative and effective solutions for clients.
